Up & Active and Over 60’s
Samantha Holden has worked at Roefield Leisure for the last ten years as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and fitness manager.
Where once she worked for us part time whilst working for the NHS, we are now pleased to announce she has now joined us as a full time manager and coach for the brand new Up and Active Scheme.
Roefield made the decision to run the scheme in house, which is a continuation of the scheme supported by the Council. Sam will be running a variety of sessions each week that vary in intensity, together with help and support to guide you into living a healthier lifestyle.

- Obesity/Type 2 Diabetes
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Mental Health (anxiety/depression)
- Arthritis (Osteo/rheumatoid)
- Aged over 60
- Menopause
We are extremely excited to have Sam join us full time again, and we hope that our members look forward to continuing/starting the sessions we can now provide.

Up and Active Aerobics Mix Class – Exercise to music including aerobics, step, circuit and resistance exercises to energise the whole body. Can improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance and flexibility.
