We are extremely excited to announce that Anita Saunders, formerly of the RVBC Healthy Lifestyles team, has joined the Roefield team as our brand-new Up & Active Coordintor!
Anita will be bringing her expertise in the gym, alongside her specialism in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation exercise.
Roefield has made the decision to run the scheme ourselves in house, and Anita will be running a variety of sessions each week that vary in intensity. Alongside Up & Active sessions, Anita will also be running Active Gym sessions for ages 60+.

Up and Active Aerobics – A low impact exercise to music class with the option to work harder if you want (for the more active senior). Aerobics improves flexibility and helps to promote fat burning and strengthen the heart and lungs.
Up and Active Aerobics Mix Class – Exercise to music including aerobics, step, circuit and resistance exercises to energise the whole body. Can improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance and flexibility.
