After seven competitive months the indoor bowling league finally came to a close. Salesbury Tigers were crowned league champions for the fourth consecutive year. In the handicap knockout the semi finals were contested between Phoenix and last years winners The Wanderers with Phoenix comfortably winning. The other semi final French Connection defeated former winners Read. The final saw Phoenix running out winners by six shots. After the final there was a presentation and the prizes were given out by Clitheroe Town Council Mayor Councillor Maureen Fenton and Ribble Valley Council Leader Councillor Ken Hind. This was followed by a buffet lunch.
Roefield is looking to expand its popular league which runs from September to March and matches last one and three quarter hours.
