Centre Update 

As of Monday 7th February, the centre will be making some minor changes in line with current guidelines and regulations.  

  • As Covid restrictions start to ease and restrictions start to be lifted, Roefield will continue to ask customers to support us in keeping the centre safe, clean, friendly & fun. We will continue to provide cloths at our reception desk, and will continue to ask all customers to clean their equipment after use. We will also continue to ask customers to be mindful of theirs and others space, and also to sanitise their hands where possible at one of the stations dotted around the centre. 
  • Full use of the Active Network returns to all memberships. The Active Networks gives all members access to 18 leisure centres across the North West. With a choice of 18 gyms, 13 swimming pools and over 350 classes per week, there is something for everyone. Members who wish to make use of the Active Network can check which centres are involved by clicking here.
  • The centre will continue to offer the current activities available; badminton, basketball, bowling, gym, gymnastics, football hire & classes. 
  • Pro Sports coaching will continue to host their popular holiday clubs from our sportshall every school holiday. You can find more information on this by clicking here. 
  • Our strike system will return for all aerobics classes, Lets Live Life classes, group PTs and PT sessions. If a session needs to be cancelled, we encourage all members to cancel with as much notice as possible. We also encourage all members to ensure they sign in at the reception desk either with the receptionist, or by scanning their membership card/app barcode BEFORE entering their class. As classes and PT sessions become more popular, we have re-introduced booking rules  to ensure everybody gets contacted off the waiting list in the event of cancellations. The rules are in place to prevent people missing out on oversubscribed classes. This is to ensure fairness across classes and helps everyone to attend the classes they enjoy.

If you do not attend a class OR cancel a class within 2 hours of the class starting, you will receive a strike. If you receive three strikes in 21 days you will receive a one week ban. 

Due to high numbers in late cancellations we are re-introducing this new policy to make it fair for all of our customers. This will also apply to PT sessions and Lets Live Life classes.
