<p>Want to keep your squad one step ahead of everybody else this season? Then Roefield Leisure’s 5-a-side League is the perfect answer. Operating on a Sunday morning, with each game lasting 30 minutes, it’s a great way to keep your team match fit through the season.</p>
<p>New teams are welcome to put their skills to the test in what has become the most popular 5-a-side league in The Ribble Valley. Established now for over ten years, the league is affiliated to the Lancashire Football Association. The RESPECT campaign will continue to be run, with national agenda’s in football being compromised through Roefield.</p>
<p>For 30 minutes on a Sunday morning, you get to chance to test your skills against other teams and be in with a chance of chasing for the coveted title of Roefield 5-a-side champions.</p>
<p>So if you fancy your chances against some high quality opposition, then take the most of this fantastic opportunity and register today. Simply visit us at the centre and ask for a registration form.</p>

<p><a href="http://roefield.com/?attachment_id=291"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-291" title="dance-mat" src="http://roefield.com/wp-content/uploads/dance-mat-300x187.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="187" /></a>In-The-Zone provides teens the facility to exercise with people of a similar age in a relaxed environment. With a few exceptions there is little for the teens in the Ribble Valley area to do in the evenings and at the weekend. For 2 hours on a Saturday evening Roefield open all its facilities to 12 – 15 year olds. Offering them the opportunity to Climb, exercise in the gym, take part in various aerobic classes and take part in the numerous sporting activities in the sports hall. The Centre also has a lounge area where you can relax with your friends or play on the Wii.</p>
<p>GROUP FITNESS</p>
<p>There are various aerobic sessions we hold such as The very popular Zumba and Box Fit (Shown in pic). We also have a Street dance session with Kimberly. Dance mats are also available. These are fantastic fun and a great way to get fit to the newest tunes.</p>
<p>RELAX IN OUR LOUNGE</p>
<p>There is a fantastic lounge area where you can chill with your friends. Hot and cold drinks are available from our cafe. We also have the Wii set up to the Tv so you can challenge your friends on Wii sports.</p>
<p>BODY ZORBING</p>
<p>Body Zorbing has arrived at Roefield during our In-The-Zone sessions. In-The-Zone will be replacing our Timeout sessions on the 21st January and to kick things off we will be introducing Body Zorbing. Body Zorbing is a craze that is sweeping the nation. Bodyzorbing allows you to run, walk, jump, flip, bounce, back roll bounce into other bodyzorb and much more. Your legs are not inside the Zorb meaning you are free to move and do what your legs want to.</p>
<p>CLIMBING</p>
<p>Our excellent indoor wall, scaling 8.5m at its peak, will provide increasingly demanding challenges as you progress. A fully qualified climbing instructor supervises the sessions and the centre provides all climbing and safety equipment required.</p>
<p>SPORTS IN THE HALL</p>
<p>We also hold various sports in the sports hall. These include traditional games such as Football, Badminton, Short Tennis, Table Tennis, etc… Dodgeball is another sport that is increasing in popularity that is available. All the sessions are supervised by our enthusiastic friendly staff to ensure they run smothly and you get the most from your experience.</p>
<p>For Just £3 you get access to all the different activities from 5pm to 7pm every Saturday evening.</p>

<p>I decided to change my lifestyle, eating habits and immediately joined a local gym, studied obtaining a healthy lifestyle and qualified as a gym instructor in order to help others who are struggling with weight problems.&#8221;</p>
<p>Edward joined Roefield Leisurethree months ago and is keen to motivate and mentor others who want to lose weight through a range of fitness programme. He can relate to people who are struggling both physically and mentally to lose weight. He can help by providing a guided and personal one-to-one programme here at the centre. Just book in for a programme and Ed will take care of the rest.</p>

<p><strong>Street Dance</strong></p>
<p>There are several dance courses for adults or Juniors. Every week is different and dance routines are always fun, fresh and up to date to the latest tracks. Dances will be choreographed to classic and contemporary Music such as early 90’s R&amp;B, 80’s hip hop, current charts and much more.</p>
<p><strong>Basketball</strong></p>
<p>Excellent Course suitable for anybody aged 8 to 15 years. The session is led by a highly experienced coach and player concentrates on developing ball handling skills, passing and shooting techniques while developing knowledge of court strategy and match play tactics. Essential firts grounding for anuone wishing to progress to competition and club basketball.</p>
<p><strong>Netball</strong></p>
<p>A series of courses developing basic ball and footwork skills for the beginners, leading up to passing and shooting skills for the improvers and then progress to playing ‘High Five’ games for the more advanced. These sessions provide a perfect framework for development from complete novice to a competitive netball player with the help of our excellent links to the leading local netball club.</p>
<p><strong>Rock Climbing</strong></p>
<p>Run by a qualified instructor will teach basic techniques and skills needed, including belaying, use of equipment, safety, rope work and<br />
climbing positioning. Courses are set up to coincide with the NICAS proficiency levels and lead to NICAS Level 1 and 2 which can be completed as part of one of our club nights which those who have completed the course are invited to. Climbing Club that runs on  variety of evenings throughout the week.</p>

<p><strong>Development Centre Football Coaching</strong></p>
<p>Coaches from the Development Centre Coaching  lead the sessions. Objectives range from ball control and skill development to passing and control through the teaching games for understanding model of coaching. This allows children to develop skills and abilities through well constructed games and match play alongside conventional coaching drills. The sessions are fun and exciting and aim to provide a base for youngsters to develop into skilled players. Our sessions are a great way to build confidence and general fitness whilst having fun.</p>

<p><strong>Badminton</strong></p>
<p>The beginner course concentrates on teaching and developing basic skills and techniques including hand to eye co-ordination and positional play with a focus on match play. For the more advanced players the sessions will concentrate on tactics and advanced match play whilst improving stroke and technique.</p>

<p>Sessions are a speedy 30 minutes in length and are taken by qualified gym instructors, who will motivate you and guide you through your workout. This is truly a 1to1 personal training experience.
